The 96th Entry

RAF Halton (1960-63)

The aim of our web-site is to promote the 96th Entry of aircraft and dental apprentices and to inform our members about events past, present and future.

You navigate around the site using the animated buttons and links on each page. An active object will change as you move your cursor over it. If you get stuck try using your browser back arrow.

Moving over any picture (e.g. the cat badge above left) may bring up a hidden link or caption with further information about that person or picture, except on mobile devices. Adding such functionality is on-going.

We welcome your input, either comment about the web-site and/or its content or by way of submission of photographs, information or articles for inclusion.

Just send them to our site admin by using the Contact Us link on this page. Please check our anti-spam precautions on the General Office page before trying to send an e-mail from within the site.

The web-site has been tested and proven to have basic and reliable function in most web-browsers, including on mobile devices like smart-phones, iPads and tablets.

If you have the Skype Click-To-Call Add On installed on your device this has known compatibility issues and you may find that the Skype phone number link colour is the same as our background colour and the phone number will therefore be invisible. If I change our site text colour Skype will over-write it. I am not prepared to change the web-site colour scheme to suit Skype, so I suggest you disable Click-To-Call either in your browser (IE uses Tools>Manage Add Ons>Disable. Other browsers have similar procedures) or by uninstalling the application in Control Panel>Programs>Remove/Install (Varies according to your version of Windows).
